Residential Inspections: Residential Inspections are primarily visual, but not a technically exhaustive inspection. Our inspections are a whole home inspection, which covers almost every aspect of the home - inside and outside.
We cover everything visible on the exterior of the home, from the grounds to the foundation, to the top of the Chimney. We will also inspect everything visible on the interior including switches, outlets, doors, windows, cabinets and appliances. The foundation and structure of the home is inspected for integrity and safety. We test the plumbing, fixtures, the furnace and air conditioning (temperature permitting), water heater and inspect the electrical panel.
In the attic, crawl space and basement - structure, ventilation and insulation are inspected. Much more is included as our inspections are thorough and detailed. In short, when we inspect a home for you, we try to provide as much information for you as possible about the condition of the home.
Partial Inspections: We will complete a custom Inspection for you from a single component to a Mechanical Systems Only Inspection to a Full Home Inspection. If you are concerned about one or just a few components, we will work with you to custom build an Inspection that suits your needs. If you are buying a home that you plan on a lot of remodeling, we can perform a Mechanical Inspection which can include HVAC, electrical, plumbing or any other components you would like inspected. We are happy to work with you and we are flexible to suit your needs.
Preventative Maintenance Inspections: Planning on staying in your home and looking to make some upgrades, do some preventative maintenance or are concerned about some aging components? We can inspect certain components for you or perform a complete Home Inspection for you and advise you on the expected life and condition of the components in your home. It will be a very helpful guide to help you decide where may be a good place to update some of the components of your home.
Well Water Testing: If your prospective home has water supplied by a private well, we offer Well Water Sampling. A water sample will be taken from the home and analyzed for Coliform Bacteria and Nitrate levels. The turn around for this is usually 48-36 hours. This could be done at the time of inspection, or as a stand-alone service.
